Meal Reheating Instructions

April 4th Delivery

Below you will find reheating instructions for your meals. We recommend that you take the food you are preparing out of refrigeration for 30 minutes before you reheat it. These guidelines are based off of our kitchen testing in a convection oven; please note that ovens vary and your food may require more or less time than this. All food is fully cooked and safe to eat without reheating (with the exception of the cookie dough).

When unpacking your meal box, all items should be stored in your refrigerator.

 

baked penne

angus ground beef, fennel, oregano, slow roasted pomodoro sauce, fresh mozzarella, seasonal vegetables from meacham urban farm 

baked penne - place the uncovered aluminum pan in a 375 degree preheated oven for 25 minutes. 

meacham’s seasonal veggies - place the uncovered aluminum pan in a 375 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes, stir halfway through cooking. 

 

harissa chicken meatballs

moroccan spiced all natural chicken, saffron and lemon cous cous, eggplant hummus, cucumber salad

harissa chicken meatballs and saffron + lemon cous cous - cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in a 375 degree preheated oven for 25 minutes.

eggplant hummus and cucumber salad - serve both of these items cold.

 

mojo pork

sour orange marinated pork shoulder, garlic mashed yuca, sofrito roasted broccoli, mojo sauce (gf, nf, df)

cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in a 375 degree preheated oven for 25 minutes. remove the provided mojo sauce 30 minutes before you plan to enjoy your meal - dress your meal with the mojo sauce as desired.

 

peruvian chicken

paprika, cumin, coriander and white vinegar rubbed rotisserie chicken, cilantro quinoa, sweet corn, peppers, stewed red beans, green sauce (nf, gf)

peruvian chicken and cilantro quinoa - cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in a 375 degree preheated oven for 25 minutes. remove the provided green sauce 30 minutes before you plan to enjoy your meal - dress your meal with the green sauce as desired.

stewed red beans - transfer the beans from their container to a small saucepan and place over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 

strawberry salad 

watercress, feta, florida orange vinaigrette

toss all of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. 

 

market salad

arugula, shaved watermelon radish and yellow beets, crumbled goat cheese, red wine vinaigrette

toss all of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. 

 

rocky road cookie dough  

 preheat your oven to 325 degrees on a traditional bake setting. 

line a baking sheet with parchment paper. scoop out a heaping tablespoon of dough, roll it in your hands to form a ball. repeat this process until you have used all of the cookie dough (approximately 6 cookies).

bake for 14 minutes or until the outsides begin to turn golden-brown.
